Trivial Neutral: cathedral basement explorations
Won: Day 146
Game: pun doctoring
Summary
This memory is something of a montage that takes place over a couple hours, in which Tan, Fiere, and Laura are exploring the basement of the ice church they had fallen down the trap door of in order to find a way back upstairs.
This montage contains a lot of finding keys to locked doors, opening said locked doors, and fighting Null creatures that are much stronger than most of the ones Tan has remembered fighting so far, but in context they don't seem that much stronger than recent ones. Tan and Fiere make a point not to transform, since that'll draw more to them, and with Laura there and still barely able to defend herself (despite having had plenty of practice at this point), he'd rather not take that chance.
The most notable thing is that at one point, they find a room that is almost completely trashed, except that two photo albums somehow managed to mostly escape. One of them contains pictures of Tan's mother and the twins' father when they were teenagers. There's another figure, but whoever it is, their likeness is always torn up.
(At least two of those pictures depict the two of them transformed into Angels. So. You know. There's that. He's glad to be able to see what his mom looked like back then ^^)
The other is filled with class photos through the years, several different classes that a single teacher has had. The teacher is always torn out of the pictures, and the photos get greyer and greyer as they get more and more recent, somehow.
Surprisingly, in one of the class photos, Laura is there. When he shows this to her, she recognizes it, and writes that this is the last class she was in before her parents started homeschooling her. And that man over there - she points to the teacher's aid, on the other side of the picture - is Alex.
(Who he would recognize as the teacher's aide who got knocked out during the Playground Brawl even if Kim hadn't informed him later about it.)
What He Learns
☼ Good to see fighting Null is still a thing.
☼ Tony and Nina are/were Angels.
☼ ...The latter is actually a bit of a revelation without the context he should have at this point but doesn't.
☼ (Though I'm sure you guys saw it coming.)
☼ Context clues from last memory say all of this is related to Jessica...?

This is trivial because in canon he'd known for a bit that his mom was an Angel. Not long, like a day or so, but he still knew already.
Without that context this is really more a True Neut, but w/e.
