Summary
[Tan], a fox, and this brown-haired girl named Laura are wandering through some kind of underground catacombs or something, though it's kind of almost like it's covered in ice. Laura suddenly collapses to her knees from pushing herself too hard, and [Tan] rushes over to help her up, saying that they can take a break and rest until she's recovered. Conveniently, there's even a bench nearby, so they sit there. Laura is shivering from the cold (though [Tan] doesn't notice it), so the fox comes over and lays over her shoulders as a warm shawl so she can warm up.
As they're sitting there, [Tan] starts fiddling with his charm bracelet and thanks Laura for giving it to him. After all, it was her idea, right? And it really saved him back there. She tries to deny it (incidentally, she doesn't talk and instead writes in a notebook), claiming that everyone helped equally to make it, but [Tan] still decides that she deserves a thank you for her role in helping him through.
He then suddenly recalls that when she'd helped him through the fog back then, she'd been accompanied by a male voice he hadn't recognized, which he'd thought was odd. Laura, however, seems almost shocked by the revelation, but when [Tan] asks her if something's wrong, she just shakes her head and stands up, writing that she thinks she can keep going now.
And so they keep walking.
What He Learns

☼ Either Laura is weak to cold or he's not affected much by it.

In terms of starting memories, it doesn't give him much context to go on, but it does tell him that his bracelet is important, and that there is at least one person waiting for him back home. ...Also that he was in trouble for a while but his friends came through for him, which is a thing.
