So after swording the final boss to death with a sword so he didn't have to die, what's Caramel up to these days?

I keep meaning to finish writing up his epilogue, actually! ^^; I just keep forgetting about it... Also technically he wasn't the one who sworded the final boss after all he gave it to Chibi and held Akuro in a bubble so the sword wouldn't miss but.

Either way, he's doing well! It was a little rocky immediately after Akuro's defeat, because Kagu... kind of may have sort of slapped him and stomped on him for a bit because she was so mad at him for betraying Chibi like that and was screaming at him for a while "What is your problem?!?" and the like. Also Manpuku and Nanami were kind of a bit upset at him too, even if not quite as physically. After a lot of apologizing, though, they eventually forgave him. And well, Chibi forgave him from the start, so. ^^ (Kuni, incidentally, didn't have much of an opinion on the matter mostly owing to not knowing Kurow at all in the first place and having been possessed for 90% of the final boss fight.)

He got his date with Scholar! They went for a nice walk on the beach and probably made sand castles and the like, and they probably also went to a nice restaurant for lunch or something. It'd never work out romantically because the age difference is so great, but they're staying good friends.

After all that, the partners all went their separate ways - Nanami went back to serving Queen Oto(hime), Kagu went back to splitting her days between being an actress and training to be a miko, Manpuku went home to 100 years ago (though Kagu gave him a charm that would let him come to the present through the Origin Mirrors when he wants to visit, kind of like the one she gave Chibi), and Kuni went off on a soul-searching journey to find out who he is because of the whole amnesia, washing up on the beach, and being able to do stuff involving Nagi's bloodline despite not being Susanoo's biological son. Issun took Chibi in the UFO he had commissioned from Gen and they headed to the Celestial Plain where they will hopefully meet up with Ammy and Waka in Okami II and we'll actually get to see Waka be accountable for his actions.

As for Kurow... well, he's mostly going sightseeing these days. The Tao Troopers want to recruit him (since he's the clone of their missing leader and all), but he's turned them down several times. He wants to live his life to the fullest, after all, now that he definitely can. He definitely took some time to visit the former site of the Ark of Yamato, though he spends a lot of time in Kusa Village chatting with a certain bamboo cutter. He visits Teal's worlds a lot too, most certainly. (He's probably fascinated by modern cities, honestly. So much like what he knows of the Moon, but so different!)

Eventually, he plans to commission Gen and see if the inventor can't build a second UFO for him, since, well, there's no way to retrieve his shooting star/rocket even if he wanted it (thanks Akuro), and then join Chibi up on the Celestial Plain (and maybe yell at Waka a bit/tsun-ly thank him for the chance to be alive), but not for a while.

How much does Belt remember of Caramel, I'm curious? What's her opinion of him, compared to Macaron's?
