Neutral Trivial: a day at the library
Won: Day 98

Summary
In this memory, Tan is around 13 years old. It starts out at school, with gym class being replaced for the day by a special health class. The girls and the boys are separated, and so Tan and Norbert end up sitting together in class and initially wondering why the girls and the boys were split up, but then it becomes clear when the topic is revealed: sex ed.
It's a basic lecture of an abstinence-pushing variety, this is tab A, you put it in slot B, and it's where babies come from, but don't do it until you're married or you'll get all sorts of icky diseases and die a horrible death, stuff like that. It's so melodramatic that even the teacher seems like he's not having fun and would rather talk about other aspects but he's forced to teach it this way by the school board, but what can you do.
Fast forward to that afternoon after school, and Tan is out in the park with a whole bunch of kids ranging from as old as 12 or 13 to as young as about 8. There's a flag flying from the jungle gym that indicates that it's a meeting of the Night Phoenix Gang, though everyone really seems to be mostly doing their own things, some in groups, some by themselves. A few of the younger kids come up to Tan and Norbert (who are naturally regarded as the leaders) and ask about what their school days were like because theirs was boooring and they're convinced the older kids get to have more fun. Tan, having no filter, decides to let them in on what they learned in health class that day, because knowing where babies come from is important. (Norbert kind of just facepalms in the corner trying not to laugh too hard.)
And the kids are... surprisingly excited about this! And they end up asking as many questions about it as they can think of, because it's what the big kids are learning! So many, in fact, that Tan doesn't know the answer to most of them, and neither does Norbert. But, because the kids have cute puppydog-like expressions, they agree to go to the library to look up the answers to their burning questions the next day.
The next day is a Saturday, so Tan and Norbert go to the public library and get on a public computer to go on the internet and look up these answers. Wikipedia's answers aren't good enough, so they decide to do a little Google searching.
...Which is a bad idea, because they accidentally stumble across a porn site. A rather explicit porn site that somehow managed to get past the library's filters (in reality the librarian had been looking at it the night before and forgotten to turn the filter back on). I will leave the details to your imagination, but suffice it to say that Tan and Norbert's faces both go beet red.
They then close out of the browser, look at each other, and agree never ever ever to tell Rena about what they saw.
